MiriamUXAudits LLC | Reducing Risk Through Audits of Critical Content

Independent reviews of regulatory, safety, compliance, and AI-assisted content to ensure information is clear, complete, accurate, accessible, traceable, and actionable.

‍MiriamUXAudits LLC, led by Dr. Miriam F. Williams, offers plain-language editing for compliance materials, UX audits of regulatory documents, accessibility reviews, and AI content audits. Dr. Miriam F. Williams retired as a tenured full professor from Texas State University after 30 years of service to the State of Texas—nearly a decade at Texas Health and Human Services agencies implementing, developing, and editing health and safety regulations, followed by 22 years in the Department of English's Master of Arts in Technical Communication Program at Texas State University.

Her research earned international and national awards, and her teaching helped prepare generations of UX researchers, writers, designers, editors, content strategists, and project managers. Her teaching and research were informed by years of experience at Texas Health and Human Services agencies, where her work moved from health and safety interviews and investigations to writing the regulations those findings shaped, and ultimately to leading a team that edited regulations for publication in the Texas Register.

As Presidential Fellow in the Office of the President at Texas State University, under President Denise Trauth, she co-authored the university's successful proposal for Emerging Research University classification, designated by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. That classification placed Texas State among the institutions the state recognizes as candidates to become major research universities. Her work across government agencies, higher education, and regulated organizations now informs her independent practice, where she audits high-stakes content for accuracy, clarity, accessibility, traceability, and actionability.
